Oklahoma State Profile on Physical Education – Oklahoma mandates at least 60 minutes of physical education per week in full day kindergarten through fifth grade, plus an additional 60 minutes of physical activity, and daily recess may be counted in this 60 additional minutes per week. The state also requires middle school/junior high and high schools to provide physical education to all students, which may include athletics. These mandates are enforced through annual accreditation reporting.
